Jennifer McQuade
Jennifer earned her B.S. degree in Biotechnology from Purdue and a Masters degree in Biology. She is a published scientist and a National Board Certified Teacher in young adult and adolescent life science education. With almost 15 years of teaching experience from middle school through college she hopes to use her talents to grow healthy food and educate the community about sustainable practices.
Lucas Sgouros
Lucas earned his BFA in Fine Art from Columbia College Chicago. He has worked in construction for 15 years and so can build pretty much anything you can imagine. He currently uses his eye for design and talents to create custom furniture, ornamental iron work, and stone work projects to beautify peoples homes and yards. He employs sustainable practices like using reclaimed wood and other materials where possible, milling our own wood from trees that need to be removed, and planting 2 new trees for every tree we take down.
